Apply to be a limited member

The following steps can be completed by either the plan member or the former spouse applying to become a limited member of the plan.

  1. Complete Form P2 Request for designation as limited member online
  2. Print and sign the form
  3. Attach a copy of your separation agreement or court order to the form
  4. Attach a cheque for $750 payable to the WorkSafeBC Pension Plan
  5. Mail the complete package to the WorkSafeBC Pension Plan

We will contact you in writing once we have processed your application to become a limited member.


You can apply to be a limited member of the plan if you are the former spouse of a plan member.

To apply to be a limited member, you will need
  • Social insurance number of the plan member
  • A witness to sign the form
  • A copy of the separation agreement, court order or Form P9 Agreement to have benefits divided explaining how we should divide the pension benefit
  • A cheque for $750 payable to the WorkSafeBC Pension Plan
  • Proof of age and change-of-name documents
