Investment holdings

The investments held in the WorkSafeBC Pension Plan are invested in different asset classes to reduce risk and achieve consistent, long-term results.

More than one-fifth of plan investments are in bonds (a source of safe fixed income) and about one-fifth are in developed market equities, which include, most notably, shares in companies involved in the financial, information technology and industrial sectors. Plan investment holdings are structured to minimize investment risk and achieve consistent, long-term results.
