How pension contributions work

You contribute to your pension through automatic payroll deductions. Your employer also contributes to your pension. 


How are contributions invested?

The assets in the plan are invested in a range of investments. Asset classes that the plan invests in include:

  • Global equities
  • Bonds
  • Real estate
  • Canadian equities
  • Short-term bonds
